Multi-mission Versatility with the Click of a Couple Buckles!
The optional Patrol Extender for the Wilderness Cleckner Cuff Sling is a quick conversion adapter. A concept suggested by our customer Jon A. based upon his USMC experiences, the extender evolved into an added strap that immediately converts the cuff sling to be long enough to use as a simple two-point sling for field carry across the chest. It utilizes the Cleckner’s standard built-in emergency escape side-release buckle halves to click in the male and female buckles on the extender.
Available in 21.5″ and 15″ strap lengths, which translate into approximately 15″ and 10″ of possible added length when adjusted all the way out. We find the longer 21.5″ strap is used more often, especially while wearing any armor or load carrying gear. The adapter may be removed at any time for conventional over-the-shoulder carry.
