LowPro EDC Belt

$46.95

The Wilderness LowPro EDC Belt was born out of the desire for an extremly flat and narrow buckle, while maintaining the quality and comfort standards of our Original Instructor and Frequent Flyer belts. We combine a high-grade, featherweight Delrin buckle (1.50″ or 1.25″) with our classic belt body that’s manufactured from two layers of custom-made premium webbing.

The polymer-lined CSM is not available in the 1.25″ width.

*Wolf Grey available in 1.5″ width only.

Black Wolf Grey Coyote Ranger

• This is NOT the normal hook and loop belt closure, which is always included as a basic part of the belt. See “Added Hook and Loop Options” below.

• The added hook or loop fastener option makes the belt a custom order, which is non-returnable. Correct sizing is even more vital than usual, so please look at our sizing guide videos for proper fitment.

• The slight added thickness and stiffness of the hook or loop fastener may not allow the belt body to fit through very tight belt channels on some holsters and accessory pouches.

Description

AIWB with the LowPro EDC Belt.

As the foundation of your everyday carry, the LowPro EDC Belt is particularly well-suited to AIWB holsters and centerline-carry of knives and magazines. However, it still works just as well for strong-side belt or IWB holsters as our classic tactical belts. The stitching reinforcement near the buckle ensures stable mounting of holsters or pouches in that position while still being pliable enough to conform to them and be comfortable.

AIWB with the LowPro EDC Belt.Stuff You Should Know:

  • The belt is omnidirectional and may be worn facing either direction that suits the user’s needs.
  • Available in Black, Wolf Grey, Coyote Brown, and Ranger Green.
  • Available in our standard variety of body stiffness levels:
    • 3-Stitch (most flexible)
    • 5-stitch for more stiffness (a great balance and our most popular version)
    • Polymer-lined Combat Shooters Model/CSM (vertically rigid, best load-bearing) *Available in 1.5″ only on LowPro EDC Belts
  • Polymerized end-tab treatment eliminates fraying.
  • The LowPro EDC Belt is a 100% non-metallic, security-friendly belt made with a strong Delrin triglide buckle.
  • Proudly made at our production facility in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

Buckle Use Notes

The running end of the belt should be threaded through both loops of the triglide buckle for longevity. Fastening through a single loop will drastically increase the wear on the hook-and-loop due to shearing forces and make the belt less secure under extreme conditions. We advocate threading through both loops for a very secure closure that holds fast through strenuous or violent physical activity.

When cinching down the belt, hold the buckle or the other end of the belt in place while you pull on the running end with the reinforced, polymerized end tab.

Belt Sizing

*We strongly recommend using a measuring tape to check your correct size. Your pants size is not your correct belt size and is usually off by at least 2″, and we have found that the markings on other belts are not always accurate. Please read and use our belt sizing guide.

If your measured belt size is over 50″ we strongly encourage you to check out the Easy-Fit belts in 1.5″ width or wider. Their simplified sizing offers extra range of adjustment which makes correct sizing easier. This is important both to the belt doing its job for you and because the higher size ranges are custom and non-returnable.

Custom Size Notes: 46″-49″ add $5.00, 50″-59″ add $10.00, 60″-69″ add $15.00, 70″-79″ add $20.00 on all belts (please call for 60″+ orders for advice on belt style); 46″ and larger, or 32″ and smaller, are custom made and non-returnable.

5-stitch patternChoose Your Flavor

The standard 3-stitch model offers very good load-bearing and comfort with inside-the-pants holster carry.

The 5-stitch model is our favorite and most popular. It offers two additional stitch lines along the length of the belt which significantly stiffen it and enhance load bearing. It’s vertical rigidity is similar to a high-quality leather gunbelt, yet it is horizontally and rotationally flexible for comfort. We think this is the best one for most gun-carrying operations, both inside-the-pants and belt holsters.

The Combat Shooters Model (1.5″ ONLY on LowPro EDC Belts) adds a polyethylene insert which adds even more vertical rigidity. This model is slightly thicker than the 3- or 5-stitch models. We recommend it for action shooters and security work where numerous items such as duty holsters will be worn on the belt.

Added Hook and Loop Options

We now offer the option of adding hook or loop fastener to the inside or outside of most of our belts. This helps to secure many hook or loop fastener-lined duty belts and warbelts in place when using ours as an underbelt. When used on the inside, it can help lock our belt into place when using it over a hook or loop fastener-lined underbelt on your pants. Some pouches also feature hook or loop inside of their belt loops to aid in keeping them in place.

*Note that this option makes the belt a custom order which is non-returnable. Correct sizing is even more vital than usual, so please look at our sizing guide videos for proper fitment here. **The slight added thickness and stiffness of the hook or loop fastener may not allow the belt body to fit through very tight belt channels on some holsters and accessory pouches.
