Wilderness Associates

The Scottsdale Gun Club

The Scottsdale Gun Club is run by our friends and Wilderness dealers Terry Schmidt, Nadine Little, Mark Hanish and Matt Golden. The 30,000 square foot club is absolutely the premiere facility of its kind in the country, and probably the world. Offering a dream gun showroom, high-tech range, indoor shooting house, well-trained sales personnel, and top-notch instructors, it is a shooter's paradise.

Sidearmor Holsters

Sidearmor is a Wilderness dealer and makers of the best Kydex/Concealex belt holsters we've seen, Jeff Costa has set a new standard in Kydex holsters. Perfect molding, precision CNC machining and a belt slot system that helps tuck the gun butt into the body; all make Sidearmor holsters stand out in a world of often less-than-spectacular plastic holsters.

Specialized Armament Warehouse (S.A.W.)

SAW is a Wilderness dealer and gunsmithing shop, Ken and Tina Elmore specialize in the sales, armorer training, repair and modification of Colt tactical products. The place for honest-to-gosh Colt parts and a wealth of experience. We like to upgrade our magazines with their red "extreme duty" AR magazine springs in conjunction with MagPul followers and MagPuls.

Vang-Comp Industries

Vang-Comp Industries is a Wilderness dealer and producer of fine custom tactical shotguns and shotgun accessories for professionals. While Hans Vang is best known for his Vang-Comp choking/compensator barrel modification which significantly tightens shot patterns, he also builds tactical shotguns on Remington, Mossberg, HK-Benelli, and Beretta platforms. Hans is also a great guy!

VLTOR

VLTOR is a Wilderness dealer and producer of the great VLTOR stocks with battery carriers, as well as a variety of other tactical accessories. We highly recommend their stocks and stock adapter for Kalashnikov rifles. It allows our Single-Point Sling to be used on AK-series rifles with the increasingly popular push-button Q.D. swivel.

NightRider Jewelry

NightRider Jewelry crafts high-grade, ass-kicking jewelry with the unapologetic sense of freedom treasured by the American bike and shooting cultures. Their detailed, in-your-face designs are made with only the finest materials, including the best .925 sterling silver and other precious metals and gems. Many pieces are limited runs, but all are unrestrained in making a bold statement of style and belief. NightRider worked with us to create the striking Wilderness Skull Buckle. We then add the same body as our famed Original Instructor Belt.

NightRider Jewelry owner George Ganem (a professional jeweler) and business partner Tony Coury, III (NightRider's national sales manager) are our friends and fellow shooters. They take the same pride in their work that you will feel as an owner. All NightRider jewelry is made in the USA by honest to God craftsmen who take great pride in their work.

Dillon Precision

Dillon Precision is one of our local dealers and a great supporter of the NRA and the Second Amendment. They also have some fantastic posters (for the men in the audience) to put up in the rec room or on the safe. Hmmm, maybe we need some posters of our president, Ralph Holzhaus, for the ladies?

Oh yeah, Dillon also makes some pretty decent reloading equipment, too.

GG&G

GG&G is a Wilderness dealer and manufacturer of a wide array of professional-grade accessories for tactical arms. They are also an Aimpoint dealer.

Glock Talk

Our friends at GlockTalk have been running what should probably be Glock's official Website at this point. Good info and forums.

Gunsite Academy, Inc.

This world-famous Gunsite Academy offers top-notch training in defensive firearms, knives, flashlights, and even walking sticks. Gunsite was founded by the late Col. Jeff Cooper as the American Pistol Institute in 1976 in the rugged beauty of north-central Arizona near Prescott. Gunsite has been the source of much modern tactical doctrine, including the Modern Technique of the Pistol, the color codes of awareness, and the defensive triad of speed, power, and accuracy.

Legendary Guns of the West

Legendary Guns, run by our dealer and friend Dave LaRue, are specialists in original and contemporary Western-era guns. They have always generously let us do holster sizing tests on unusual guns that we haven't had access to otherwise. Check out their Website, especially if you have an interest in antique Western firearms or cowboy action shooting.

Lightning Arms Sports

Lightning Arms Sports is Wilderness belt dealer specializing in stocking high-grade concealment holsters from makers like Milt Sparks, Lou Alessi and Pocket Concealment Systems. They also stock grip panels by Craig Spegel for the 1911, Hi-Power, and Smith & Wesson J, K, L and N-frame revolvers. When you just can't wait months for that perfect holster for yourself or as a gift, give Craig and Audrey Chadwick a call.

Milt Sparks Holsters, Inc.

Milt Sparks Holsters, Inc. is a Wilderness dealer and the standard by which all other leather holster makers are judged, now run by Milt Sparks' successor and friend Tony Kanaley. While we love our own products, we admit to liking a little variety now and then from other makers too. Sometimes a Sparks Versa Max II (VM-2) IWB holster with sharkskin trim is just the ticket for a night on the town. The wait is worth it. Trust us. …And if you just can't wait, call Lightning Arms Sports (see above).

MSTN (Mid-South Tactical Network)

MSTN is a Wilderness dealer and a resource for everything top shelf from Aimpoints to Knight's and LaRue mounts and our slings. Owner Wes Grant's totally tactical AR creations (like this LMT shorty) just make it hard not to drool on the keyboard. The best thing about Wes' creations? They run.
